Rhonda Davis is the proud owner of the National Champion mare Pashahnata.
She has one of the most beautiful heads in the breed, and is naturally
athletic, which no doubt contributed to her numerous wins in the show
ring. Combined with her beauty is a mellow temperament so typical of
the Simeon Shai+ line.
Pashahnata has numerous Regional Top 5's, Regional Championships, Canadian
National Top 10 and was US National Champion Western Pleasure Futurity
winner in 1998!
Pashahnata has also proven herself as a National-quality, top-producing
mare. Her daughter, Midnight Pashahn, placed third at US Nationals in
Yearling Sweepstakes Halter and was US National Top Ten Mare as a 3 year
old. At Scottsdale, she was recognized as Scottsdale Reserve Champion
in halter. Another daughter, 2002 filly Magnetic Pashahn, won Top Ten
honors in Western Pleasure with Gordon Potts in 2005 and in 2006 took
a second in her class at Scottsdale in Western Pleasure.
“Pashahnata is a remarkable mare, a consistent producer of color
and we have been thrilled with every foal she has produced thus far.
Her get are athletic and have so much natural cadence,” adds Rhonda.
This gorgeous mare is an excellent contender for an Open, Amateur or Youth
Rider for Nationals.
Michael Byatt informed me that
Pashahnata was the first mare to be bred to WN Star
of Antigua (Monogramm x
WN Antigua) for a 2008 foal and we are thrilled with the foal that
was born. Al
Shaqab Stud acquired WN Star of Antigua from Wayne Newton to cross on
the Marwan daughters. WN Star of Antigua simply has the largest
eyeball sockets I have ever seen and the sweetest personality!

Pashahnata has definitely passed on the trait of athletism to each of her foals thus far. She also throws great color in her offspring, having had to date a black filly with four white socks, two bays, and an incredible liver chestnut colt. We are proud to say each of the get are balanced and bred for form to function.
This gorgeous mare will be an excellent contender for an Open, Amateur or Youth Rider for Nationals.

Midnight Pashahn was the first foal out of Pashahnata (Beythoven MC x SFR Shai Princess). In 2002, she was third on the cards in the yearling sweepstakes class at US Nationals. She was US Top Ten Mare AOTH with Terry Anne Boggs. This exquisite mare also took home the honors of 2005 Scottsdale Top Ten mare in the open with Gil Chavez, as well as Scottsdale Reserve Champion AOTH with her new owner Greg Cowdrey. Congratulations Greg and Veronica Cowdrey on your purchase of such an elegant mare.
